Situated in the rolling countryside south of the River Tarn, Aussac is 10 minutes from the A68 (the motorway
that links Toulouse and Albi). It is 10 minutes to the impressive town of Albi and 20 minutes
to Gaillac. Castres, Realmont, Grauhlet, Cordes-sur-Ciel are all within 20 to 45 minutes drive.
Marssac sur Tarn is our nearest town, a small market town just 5 mins away, where you will find a small range of shops including a couple of mini-markets a newsagent/tabac, bakeries etc, and also doctor, pharmacy and banks.
The larger supermarkets and shopping areas can be found at Albi.
Toulouse, Millau (viaduct), Carcassonne, Rodez, Cahors all make a comfortable day trip (under 2hr drive), a little further and you can
be sunning yourself for the day by the Med (Narbonne Plage 2-2.5hrs), or walking in the Pyrennees (2hrs).
Aussac is 45 mins from Toulouse Blagnac airport, Rodez is now under 60 mins & Carcassonne 90 mins.
Created out of an old open-ended hangar-style barn, we have attempted to mix old with new.
Retaining and using as much exposed wood as was feasible, whilst maintaining a light and airy feel
was our objective. We let our guests be the judge of whether we have achieved this and so far guest feedback suggests we have.
Le Cerisier provides spacious, comfortable and well equipped accommodation with beautiful views
over the countryside from the large french windows and patio.
Le Cerisier has an open plan kitchen/dining and sitting area which leads to a separate shower
room. An open wooden staircase takes you up to the spacious mezzanine bedroom featuring exposed original beams.
The kitchen is fully fitted with full-sized gas cooker, microwave/grill oven and fridge with
ice box as well as a kettle, toaster plus all the other kitchen and dining equipment you would expect and hope for in self-catering accommodation.
The sitting area has a 2/3 seater settee plus a single chair, along with a tv/dvd player
and a radio/cd player.
The bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed side tables. A cot is available on request.
The shower room has a corner shower, vanity sink unit, WC and a hairdryer.

A barbecue is situated on the patio for your use.
The 10 x 5m swimming pool constructed last year is available for the enjoyment of guests.
Private car parking is provided at the front of the Gites.
A laundry service is available (local charge). A limited range of essentials
(milk, orange juice etc.) and seasonal fresh fruit, salad and vegatables from our
garden, can be purchased subject to availability. If you have any other
requests or special requirements, please ask, we will do what we can to assist (eg airport pick up).

The rates above are per week for 2 people (small supplement of £15 per week per person for 3rd and 4th guests) self catering and include bed linen, towels, electricity, gas and water. For July and August, bookings can only be accepted for full weeks, change over day is Saturday. Outside of this period shorter stays will be considered with a minimum of 2 nights, rates on request. Longer periods will equally be considered. The above rates do not include local visitor tax (2007- 1€ per day per adult). We are now able to provide a telephone in the gite at a cost of 15€ per stay plus call charges at cost. Both the visitor tax and phone costs to be paid locally.
We are unable to show "live" availability information,
therefore, to check availability please contact us via email or telephone (details follow)
with the dates you require and we will reply by return. If the dates are available we will
email to you a booking confirmation form (BCF) with full terms and conditions. We will hold
the dates for you for 48hrs after our reply pending receipt of your BCF.
On our receipt of the BCF your booking will become provisional, it will be confirmed
on receipt of the deposit which is required within 7 days of the return
of the BCF.
We require a non-returnable booking confirmation deposit of 25%, with the balance payable 8
weeks before arrival along with a £100 / €150 deposit against damages.
The damage deposit will be returned or accounted for within the 2 weeks following your departure.
If your booking
is made within 8 weeks of arrival, payment in full is required at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via cheque or direct bank transfer, our bank details will be provided at
the time of booking.
